A POEM

What year it has been
From the ups and downs
To the people within

Starting 2000 to 2010
COD was first introduced
with excitement from we men
Shooting people with our AK47s
while launching grenades from our canons
Ohh, what joy it has bring
to the people who brought COD
we say AMEN!

Now it's time to get serious
A lot of things happen past this decade
like Al-Qaeda getting George Bush nervous
The bombing in Bali was horrendous
killing so many people in one shot
Now tourists are really in SHOCK

in 2004 the tsunami came
50 feet tall witnesses claim
Victims clinging for their life
while some lost their wife
People fled children cried
the only thing they could do is complied

SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS
Athletic with full of support
Carrying their flags in shorts
There's sportsmen that stood out
Phenomenal Phelps and Wonder Bolt
and Manny Pacquiao with 38 knockouts

SARS AND H1N1 gave us quite a scare
their outbreak began nowhere
People with mask and meds
Sick pets sent to the vet
Sorrow overwhelmed us
Cus these viruses are cureless
We did put up a fight
Theses diseases are no more in sight

Gadgets we cant live without
Ipods and Iphones always sold-out
From the creation of thumbdrives
to the social networking of Facebook
to the awesomeness of 3D tvs
That make us felt so ALIVE

That's all in this decade
Sorry cuz there's more
Long this poem has become
That's why i'm afraid
Nevertheless
Look towards the future
BE BOLDER, BRAVER and BLIGHTER
